Yesterday I attended Phillips After 5, a monthly event featuring live music, gallery talks, food and a cash bar at the Phillps Collection Museum in Dupont. My friend E. and I, who both enjoy modern art, had a great time viewing the collection, catching up on life in the D.C. (men talk lol) and enjoying wine and hor d’ourves. Pictures from the event:

How cute is E.’s green Coach bag? It’s such a classy statement piece.

 E., who’s lived in D.C. for a couple of years now says the Phillips Collection is a great museum to visit in the daytime if you work in the area, love art and crave peace and quiet.  She told me she used to enjoy coming on her lunch break when she wanted some quiet time and artistic inspiration.
