I first came across Nicola Vassell, the Director of Deith Projects art gallery in Soho NYC,  after watching her spotlight video on Vogue Black. Admittedly, I watched the video about five times. I don’t know if it was the familiar Jamaican accent that sounded like mine, her chic and confident aura, or her sense of style, but I was inspired. Needless to say she’s one of my chic inspirations.
